I'm sorry C`gan and definately take all the time you need. My father & my father-in-law both died last year so I have an inkling what you are going through. You are missed, but we all understand and we'll still be there in Istaria when you return.

As for Mithril's Anvil, Heather has been a very busy bee and has gotten most of her trees done. It is looking good!

Now that I've gotten my little business site up (yessy.com/treheylcreations) I should have a bit more time to get back to work on the mid-range building. :)

I'd like to thank everyone who has joined the Order Alliance. The first calls to assemble the Alliance will be Wednesday and Thursday of this week. What/when will be done those days will be determined by the Alliance, depending on how many are available. The Order Alliance is using the Order Alliance room for gathering, feel free to join in and see whats being planned. If your still interested in joining the Alliance let me know.

OOC:To better accomodate players from the European time zones the treaty signing will moved to Saturday the 8th at 3 pm est. Location to be revealed in game.

At this time I'd like to thank the Scions of Istaria for hosting the event, and The Annatar, Aurora Alliance and Obsidian Order for their contributions to the alliance and help with the planning of it. The Alliance should take about two weeks to all play out, though certainly no one will be bound every second, there will be several minor hunts, a day dedicated to crafting, a day of training in the arena for any interested, the major assault on the Aegis leadership and a victory feast for the living races.

OOC:The Order Underground supports community building and roleplay, this will be a roleplay event, hopefully we've covered all the bases hunting, crafting, a little pvp and everyone gets together thats interested and has a good time with it.

Greetings Istarians , the official treaty signing will be Friday August 7. Exact time of day of the gathering will be roughly 10 pm est. Though the signatories may join at any time on the 7th and for a few days after. At this time we will layout a few of the rp events associated with the alliance and go over the plans of the attack and pick our date for the Order Alliance to strike.

It was not truly a lost age. In those days, I was a student of the bloodmage school, because the thought of using my life force to attack our enemies was a truly powerful and meaningful gesture.

This was actually a time of experimentation, rather than an age of flourishing. You see, we dragons had lost the Sleeper, had lost Draak, had lost many adults and ancients at Tazoon, and were generally in a sorry and confused state. We, who had once been so great, were great no longer. To learn why, we turned to the biped schools - if you can't beat them, join them, I suppose. Our natural skills with tooth and claw were perhaps the only thing recognizable, while the rest would indeed look very similar to the biped schools of today. With the loss at Draak, we had even temporarily forgotten what the Prime was and channeled instead the power of the sky, Storm! To be honest, I miss the Storm far more than I did the bloodmage school...

After the shocked elders came forth and reminded us of our history and culture, we once again took up the Prime and trained again as dragons. Valkoth and Semeneth directed us to look inwards - to retrain the skills we had lost. Of the remaining elders, they asked them focus on one aspect of study to perfect the dragon body, mind, or soul. It was then understood that we did not lose so much because we were inferior, but because we had forgotten our virtues and perfection of ages past. Admittedly, this was a very, very difficult time and we did indeed feel inferior. But this continued study has revealed so much more and strengthened our connection with the Prime, leading to the training for Silver Strike and Gold Rage, as well as several more recent abilities and more continue to be discovered.

Dragons may someday reclaim their place, but it is unlikely we shall ever do it the way bipeds would. We have so much time as dragons - and that time allows us to perfect ourselves, rather than our schools.

I think I may have a solution to the communication problem. Aside from each group having it's own Group channel, a representative from each group (or perhaps the entire group) could also enter into the Order Alliance channel. It has been and remains a meeting place for Obsidian Order and it's allies and friends. With a treaty signing, that would definitely make for a very LARGE alliance.

Although I find it very strange that Virtrium would implement a crapload of "collectible" items after complaining that players use too many slots, I like the idea of being able to obtain and keep items that are useless except for linking in RP and whatnot. I have tonnes of that stuff clogging my inventory, mostly stolen from quests.

It must, however, be made clear that collectible items are just that. Say something in the description; remove hoard values and attunement; retain or add a minimal coin value.

Once a list has been compiled, I would be happy to make unique icons for the items so that they don't have to resemble trophies. For items that fit existing icons I would write a note saying so. My only reservation is that Virtrium will probably frak up the icons with random tinting like they did with rare bottlecaps, hot cocoa, et cetera.
